Grand Bahama vacation rentals Villas & apartments to rent, holiday homes in Freeport

Grand Bahama sits to the north of the Bahamian chain of islands and just 55 miles off the Florida coast. It's a beautiful and convenient vacation destination and home to some of the friendliest people around. The island has a vibrant culture, charming towns and settlements and is rich in history dating back 7000 years.

Whilst there is the option of doing absolutely nothing apart from chilling out on a deserted beach, Grand Bahama is home to the bustling town of Freeport. This is the main commercial and tourist centre with great shopping, superb restaurants, bars and lively evening entertainment.

West End, which is the official capital of the island was famous for rum runners, arms smugglers and wreckers but is now a quiet fishing village with quaint bars and seafood restaurants and is an interesting place to wander around and chill out.
